Portland, Maine has a wide variety of excellent coffee shops to choose from, but there is only one that stands out in my mind. Arabica Coffee. This coffee shop has an immense amount of square footage, allowing for a spacious and welcoming environment. You will find Arabica Coffee right beside the water on Commercial St. in downtown Portland. The friendly staff will welcome you as you choose between a cappuccino, a refreshing iced coffee, or another caffeinated beverage you would expect to find. Once you have your beverage in hand, you can sit at one of the many comfortable seats inside, or at an outdoor table overlooking the water. If it's too hot outside and you are interested in enjoying the view, have a seat inside! Arabica Coffee has floor to ceiling windows facing the water so that you can appreciate the location as you sip on your coffee. It is a challenge to not crack a smile and appreciate the moment you have in this coffee shop. I highly recommend stopping by when you are in the area!
