The Boston (Not-So) Commons!

Are you looking for a day trip into a historic and beautiful city? Then look no further, as Boston is your destination! Shop along Newbury Street and find high quality goods, take a ferry around the Boston Harbor, or wander into the center of Boston and admire the famous golden dome atop the Massachusetts State House.

The large green space will allow for the kids to run about or for a good open space to soak up the sun! There are a number of playgrounds throughout the Commons and many statues honoring the historic figures of Massachusetts. See how many fun facts you can learn about Boston during your visit! The Commons was originally a space where cows grazed, people worked and protested, and sometimes were punished. By the 1900's the punishments and cows were no longer permitted and the Commons became a place strictly where people could gather and enjoy the space! In the Commons it may be easy to forget that you are in the midst of a bustling city, but all you'll need to do is look up!
